•January 2, 2008 • 4 CommentsThe Old Man in the Bus Stop
I woke up today and stuck to my schedule — 6 am. It must be really hard to get used to this early-riser lifestyle because my eyes have been very heavy the entire day. Tried to keep myself busy for the most part of the morning. I finally got a legitimate excuse to go outside the house and walk around — I had to go to the bank.
I left home at 11:00 am and went to the bank which was thankfully close to Barnes and Noble where I spent the next 4 hours floating around. I skimmed over two books, then floated over to Michael’s Art and Crafts Store where I was really tempted to buy a set of markers. I didn’t! Thats two resolutions for the day!
Got back home at 4:15 pm in a bus full of smelly middle and high school kids just out of class. Took the Old Man in the Bus Stop photo while waiting for the bus.
Also, I just fixed some loan application information about 15 minutes ago. 3rd resolution!!
Good start right?
Oh and I don’t like the photo I put up — the post “streets of LA (…well the Grove on Beverly) but tell me what you think about it?
I’ll probably stay up till 11 or 12 then sleep.
Daily Street Photography– Journaling 2008 onwards
•January 1, 2008 • 5 CommentsI used to keep a journal. I was never any good at it because I used to write down all my complaints and thoughts and nothing actually that was about the day. In the beginning of December, I read that journal and decided to throw it away. Goodness. It was junk.
So that I will be held accountable for all my New Year’s resolutions, I decided to keep an online journal, journaling my successes (and failures) of keeping to my New Year’s Resolutions. It won’t be some philosophical crap that I used to write in my other journals. Just simple what I did today and a little thought or two.
Of course I will keep posting {street} photography daily… along with my journal entries. We’ll see how well I could keep to my resolutions right? So here are my resolutions:
- I love to lead. I am very active on campus and I don’t stay put in one place or another (unless I am sleeping). This year I will try to be a Silent Leader — a leader’s opinion counts less than the team’s opinion — a lot less. It is very difficult to be able to get the opinions of everyone in a team so I will focus on that this year.
- Many people have told me that rising early leads to a better and more productive day. I’ll try that. It is also healthier according to some. Starting tomorrow, my day starts at 6 a.m.
- My grades last fall semester was not their best although I studied a lot — and I mean a lot. So I’m thinking that it’s not studying harder — rather studying smarter. I’ll follow http://www.studygs.net/ then for this. Lets hope this works.
- To go along with studying I guess, is class participation. People keep telling me to sit up front during lectures so that I can participate more. I never listened to them. I will find out if that really works this year.
- Regarding money, I have never been any good at keeping it. I will work on that too.
- Finally, I guess every college student’s resolution is that I will not procrastinate. I want to laugh at myself for actually adding this in but it cannot be helped.
Well thats it for now!! Its a new year and its time to start fresh and new. Right now, I am good as gold!

The Bus Driver
•December 30, 2007 • 3 CommentsIts getting more and more difficult to find Christmas themes around without focusing on decor… seems like the Christmas Spirit is actually gone right after Christmas.. oh well…
Hope you like this one!!

It was really warm out and he was wrapped up really well.. Sorta liked what he wore.
Crossing the Busy Street
•December 29, 2007 • 3 Comments
Another street photograph. I like this one because of the depth of the picture. The man crossing the street is lost among the bustle of the intersection. He’s rushing to get by — maybe thats why he’s lost. Maybe I need to slow down.
12 Days of Christmas Post 4 Golden Flower..
•December 29, 2007 • 3 CommentsApparently I posted the last photograph too late… so I gotta catch up. Here’s another object on my Christmas tree — a golden poinsettia… Enjoy!!
Its getting a lot harder to look for Christmas themes after Christmas is over…

12 Day of Christmas post #3… Never Moving, Ever Dancing
•December 29, 2007 • 3 CommentsSo, a break from the Christmas Tree Sub group… Here is the 4th post for 12 Days of Christmas Project.
I saw this peice of decoration at my aunt’s house where we had our Christmas party. It was inside a wooden box with a glass window.
Enjoy!!
